In August Earth passes through the Perseid cloud in space which means we are more likely to see a meteor shower of shooting stars. I stook in the back garden for a while and didn’t see anything at all. I just thought at the latest moment to go and put my camera on a tripod and place that on the flat window in our attic. That would get it to the highest possible point. Not sure if it would help, but at least it should then (hopefully) be a little less influenced by lights of neighbouring houses and streetlights.<\/p>\n

The problem however was that once I put it there I couldn’t see much of the settings anymore, so it took a few attempts to get results of the stars.<\/p>\n

I’ve posted two photos that have lines in them. I’m not 100% sure they’re actually shooting stars, but it was something moving up high. The first photo shows three Lins in the middle to higher right corner, the second shows a line in the bottom part of the photo. All of the lines follow their own direction and I haven’t a clue what that might mean, but I’m happy with these shots as it was a sudden idea.<\/p>\n
