One of the nicest moments for cycling in the year is when the tulips come up. Drenthe is not known for the biggest tulip fields (that’s more in the western part of the Netherlands), however you can find them.
It took me a while this year to find them. Partially as I’m rebuilding my cycling routine after last year’s shoulder problems, but also not every field has tulips every year. So you have to cycle around a bit and keep your eyes open, but when you do find them, the fields look amazing. Long long rows, color by color all the way to the horizon.
Thos who know me might see that my bike isn’t the celeste-colored Bianch of the past 10 years, but there will be a post about my new bike soon 😉 For now it’s just about cycling and finding tulip-fields.
